A water wart (Molluscum contagiosum)

Water warts
  • On the entire body but almost never on the palm or the sole of the foot
  • Skin coloured, smooth and often a pit in the middle
  • When pressed a white substance can appear
  • Caused by a small pox virus. This infection usually occurs in children and youth
  • By scratching or picking a type of eczema with inflammation can arise

Note:
A water wart doesn’t have to be treated. To protect an inflamed wart, a plaster will suffice. You can squeeze the wart, but this may cause a scar. Don’t treat this wart with WartFreezer.
